The Part of You No One Can See

There is a part of you that nobody else can fully reach.

People can see your face.

They can know your name.

They can see what you accomplish, what you own, and how you behave.

But they cannot completely see what happens within you.

The thoughts you never speak.

The questions you carry quietly.

The moments when you struggle with yourself.

The longing for something you cannot explain.

The part of you that searches for meaning when everything becomes quiet.

Perhaps this is why we can be surrounded by people and still feel deeply alone.

Because being seen is not the same as being known.

And perhaps there is an even deeper mystery:

Do we fully know ourselves?

Beneath our roles, our memories, our ambitions, and our fears, there may be a deeper self continually searching for truth.

A self that cannot be measured by achievements.

A self that does not disappear when the applause stops.

A self that longs not only to understand life...

but to understand its Creator.

Reflection Questions

  • Who are you when nobody knows what you are thinking?

  • What part of yourself do you rarely allow others to see?

  • When everything external becomes quiet, what does your deepest self seem to seek?

Practice

Tonight, find a few minutes without your phone, music, or distractions.

Sit quietly.

Don't try to solve anything.

Simply observe what rises within you.

A thought.

A feeling.

A question.

A longing.

And instead of judging it, ask:

“What is this trying to show me about myself?”

Closing Thought

The world may know your name.

It may know your accomplishments.

It may even know the person you choose to show it.

But there is a deeper part of you that exists beyond all of these things.

Protect it. Listen to it. Understand it.

Because perhaps the journey toward knowing the Divine begins...

with becoming willing to truly know yourself.
